I offer depth-oriented, trauma-informed therapy that integrates somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, NARM (NeuroAffective Relational Model), attachment theory, and psychedelic preparation and integration. My work is body-based, relational, and grounded in the belief that healing becomes possible when we feel safe, resourced, and truly seen.

I work with adults across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and the Yukon.
My clients are often self-aware people who have already done some version of the work — therapy, books, self-reflection — and still find something hasn't shifted. They might be navigating burnout and the exhaustion of high-functioning, patterns in love and relationships that keep repeating, trauma that lives beneath the surface of an otherwise functional life, or the integration of a meaningful psychedelic experience.
They're not in crisis. They're at a threshold — sensing that the old ways of coping can't carry them forward, and ready for something that actually reaches the root.

Somatic therapy is a body-aware approach to healing that works with the nervous system alongside the mind. Rather than focusing only on thoughts, insight, or your life story, it brings gentle awareness to the physical patterns, sensations, and responses that shape how you experience the present.
Overwhelming experiences don't just influence what we think—they influence how our nervous system learns to respond. We may brace before conflict, shut down under stress, or stay constantly alert without realizing it. These aren't signs that something is wrong with you. They're adaptive patterns your nervous system developed for good reason.
Somatic therapy doesn't assume trauma is "stored" in the body waiting to be released. Instead, we work with what's happening in the present moment, helping your nervous system experience new possibilities for safety, regulation, and connection. Over time, those protective patterns can begin to soften—not because they're forced to, but because they no longer need to work so hard.

The Canadian mental health landscape includes several titles — Registered Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists (RP), Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC), and Registered Social Workers (RSW) among them. It can be confusing, so here's a simple breakdown:
Registered Psychologist — doctoral-level training, can provide psychological assessments and diagnoses in addition to therapy.
Registered Psychotherapist (RP) — regulated in Ontario, master's level, focused specifically on psychotherapy.
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) — a designation through the BCACC, a professional association rather than a regulatory body. BC is currently in the process of establishing a regulated counselling profession.
Registered Social Worker (RSW) — a provincially regulated designation across Canada. RSWs vary in training and scope — to provide psychotherapy, additional clinical training is required beyond the base RSW designation. I hold a Master of Social Work with clinical specialization, along with specialized training in somatic therapy, trauma, EMDR, IFS, NARM, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
My MSW with clinical specialization and over a decade of experience means the depth and quality of care is equivalent — the credential is simply different.
If you're unsure whether your extended health plan covers RSW services, check directly with your provider as coverage varies by plan and province.

Yes. Many extended health plans in Canada reimburse therapy with a Registered Social Worker (RSW). I'm registered in BC, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, and the Yukon. You'll receive detailed receipts to submit to your provider — coverage depends on your plan and province, so please confirm directly with your insurer whether RSW services are covered.
I don't currently direct bill — receipts are provided at the end of each session for you to submit.

Many clients begin with weekly sessions, which can support depth and momentum early on, though biweekly sessions are also a good fit for many people, depending on your goals, capacity, and circumstances. We'll explore what feels right for you during your consultation. Drop-in sessions aren't available as this work requires continuity.
-
All sessions are held online via a secure, encrypted telehealth platform. Online therapy allows for depth and continuity no matter where you live — many clients are surprised by how intimate and grounding this format feels.

I work exclusively with individuals. My background includes training and experience in couples and relationship therapy, which informs my understanding of relational dynamics and attachment patterns — but my current practice focuses entirely on individual depth work.

I provide harm reduction–based preparation and integration therapy for clients engaging with psychedelics in either legal or personal spiritual contexts. This work focuses on helping you approach expanded states with intention, safety, and grounding — and supporting you in making meaning of what arises afterward.
For those exploring legal psychedelic options — including ketamine-assisted therapy or Health Canada's Special Access Program for MDMA or psilocybin — I can offer guidance and integration support throughout that process.
